Sometimes words can not do justice to describe the essence of beauty. By logic the contrary is true and sometimes words can not do justice to describe human fault.
The storming of the capital with ease and little to no consequence for many participants is something that only seems legitimate in a Philip K. Dick novel. Trump and his loyal followers see themselves as the main character in a heroic tale against the evils of a society. Philip K. Dick however crazy he was, was able to show the fragile nature of the perception of reality and how easy personal identity can be lost. For the main characters in our short story within history, both reality and identity have been lost for quite sometime now that it is almost difficult to be surprised by what happened.
The hypocrisy of Trump given to his followers has put them in a place where words no longer follow the rules of Merriam Webster. Words such as freedom, democracy, reason, and equal amongst many others have become disenfranchised. This has caused great ironies to occur from the "protesters'' standing on the steps of Capitol Hill. On those steps there were anarchists holding the American flag with pride, blue lives matter signs while attacking police, the chant of law and order while breaking the law. The people on the steps have lost all sense of individualistic pride and they choose to ignore it.
They see themselves as being courageous and fighters for freedom as they break windows and doors to try and stop a process that is meant to sustain our freedom. Ignorance is not courage. Ignorance is stupidity and that stands true for everyone at that rally who had marched to the capitol building to "fight for freedom".
I would not be able to write this article without mentioning the blatant racism that took place. This was racism not by action, but rather by reaction. From the gunman entering the Michigan Capitol to the anarchist breaking into the US capito, this is an at large scale of why Americans and specifically black Americans think that cops are racist. When you had police terrorize groups of peaceful protesters trying to get their voices heard and to cause change for equality compared to armed men and women going into government buildings and as of last night loot and steal without the harassment of police.
Four people are dead and Trump gave a statement saying that the reason why they are rioting is legitimate and he loves them. It seems that law and order have become fluid and only becomes solid when it backs Trump's demonic self-aligned views to keep him in power. In the simplest form if you ignore the lawsuits against Trumps previous companies for discrimination and other instances and you still don't believe he is the face of racism and you made it this far in the article then ask yourself then why do former and current leaders from white supremacy and Neo-Nazi groups support him if he was not racist?
To end this, the people to blame are the people who we the people put to represent us who have been giving credibility to Trump's outrageous claims. The elected leaders who have stayed silent are just as bad as the spineless leaders who kept hold to Trump's inside out pocket, following him down whatever rabbit hole he would choose.
Everything that has happened has been building up over years from progressives on both sides being contempt of political situations and not going out and voting until now. This has allowed spineless, waste of space, money, and power-driven assholes such as Mitch McConnell to stand on top of the monkey bars and run a playground, which they should never have even been allowed to get to in the first place.
The events that have happened hopefully will inspire millions of people to become more proactive in their communities and become an informed voter and use the rights they have as an American citizen to never be contempt and always strive to cause change for a better future.
